Are you interested in submitting a script to our Readers’ Theatre Gallery? We’re interested in short scripts, two to ten pages long that depict interesting situations and compelling characters. Almost all genres are welcome. Comedy, drama, family situations, etc. are all appropriate and fun to read. Keep in mind that in Readers’ Theatre our cast members read aloud, but they are not actors, so the story progresses through the dialogue that you write for them to read.
Will you get paid?
No, you will not be paid for submitting a script; neither will Seniors’ Theatre or any of its members be paid for reading the scripts. All of this is simply for fun; the gallery is a showcase for scriptwriters to showcase their work, and a place for Readers’ Theatre members to find scripts that they can read aloud, to one another, in an atmosphere of fun and camaraderie. If you would like to participate in Readers’ Theatre, we invite you to join us. You will always be welcome at Readers’ Theatre→.
