Anganetha Bergen-Klassen (1889–1918)
This is a letter that was
written by Anganetha Bergen-Klassen (1889–1918) to her sister from the homestead in Tiefengrund. The letter is dated February 2, 1917 and addressed to her sister "Miss Tina Bergen, P.O. Waldheim, Sask," who was quite possibly ill at that time.
Picture Portfolio
Helena Bergen-Klassen (1898–1997) had a suitcase in which she saved odds and ends, bits and pieces. Long before she passed away, she placed it into the hands of Katharina Klassen-Janzen, (1913–2001). When she passed away it came into the care of Marlene Janzen-Hurton. Here is a picture portfolio of the contents of this suitcase. Be certain to read the captions — they are very interesting!
