So this painting has a story. I took a picture of Copper Island in Feb 2015. When I was in the process of developing Art in the Shuswap website, I needed a logo, so I quickly used the photo to play with some art apps and filters to create my logo that I have been using ever since. My husband has been after me to do a painting like it for him. He felt it would be the painting most identifiable to me. So this week I decided to finally do it. I have to say it reminds me of a giant business card. I have been using that image for so long as a logo. But it also is a pretty cool abstract genre of Shuswap Lake and Copper Island.
